I know everyone hates intros so I’m going to keep it short. If you are in this post, chances are you already know who Louis Tomlinson is and you are a fan, or a stan, like me. I have not been sponsored by Louis’ team to write this, I am doing it out of pure love and appreciation of the experience I had a couple of months ago.
So, get some carrots and enjoy reading about my experience! (If you want to have a great experience too, click this link to learn how you can make FITFWT2023 the best night of your life)

Milan, September third. Last show of LTWT 2022.
My alarm went off at 6 am that morning, I of course, was already awake. I jumped out of my bed and stumbled in excitement to the car. We caught our plane to Milan at 8 am that same day and arrived at the venue at one pm. We still somehow managed to get a rather good place to watch the concert. I know, it seems Impossible. I’ll give you more information and some tips on how to get a good view further down .
September third was the best day of my life. I made a lot of friends plus, seeing and hearing Louis live in a whole other country was just flabbergasting.
Going to a concert is not only watching the show.
I initially went to the concert only with my mum, but some other girls from my country made a group chat of Spanish people that were attending the same show. I made friends with two of the girls from the group chat, and they saved me a place in the queue.
An hour later people started running, the venue had opened, we ran for our lives, we even lost my mum but then we found her, we skipped so many people… I kind of felt bad but it instantly went away.
We entered the venue and within one hour people started running towards the front, so we did too. We only had four more hours until The Snuts came on stage. In those four hours we tried communicating with a group of italian girlys but they did not understand english nor spanish and we did not understand Italian, so let's say it was a pretty fun conversation.
We also met another group of four girls from Spain who had met there too, unsurprisingly, communicating with them was easier.
Another cool thing were the signs, Louis is not the only one with a good sense of humor.
The show.
The Snuts jumped on stage and gave an amazing performance, they had us all waving and sticking out our middle fingers towards them. I also loved when they performed “Glasgow” , such a great and vibey song.
Then came Louis, he made us wait a good twenty minutes before he got on stage. My knees were giving up at this point, but the moment I heard the first chord of “We Made It”, all of my pain went away. And there he was, singing to us, a crowd of 40K people. It took me a good four songs to comprehend what was going on, I was in such a state of shock and awe that I couldn’t even scream.
After the fifth song, “Always You” there was a pause, I turned to one of my new friends and told her “It’s going to be Bigger Than Me, If it is I am going to cry.” So… guess what song played next. Yes, it was his newest song from his sophomore album. And so the screams and cries began, it was his first time performing it. His vocal performance was outstanding, not only in the new song, but in every single song, his vocals were completely on point.
The show only got better from there because his next song was “Night Changes”, his cover from the One direction song. But that wasn’t the only thing that gave me a heart attack.
I wasn’t aware that fireworks were a thing at shows, so yeah, let's just say that I was startled but at the same time astonished by the beauty of not only the fireworks, but also the moment.
And they kept going through almost every song, but in the last song, “Kill My Mind”, the fireworks make the end of the show a real grand finale.
The post-concert depression.
That same night, I had to sleep on the airport floor and catch the plane to go back home at 5 am. I think it is pretty obvious that I could not sleep, I was bawling my eyes out rewatching all of the videos I took, plus, the airport floor isn’t really that comfortable.
I still to this day feel even the slightest bit of this post-concert depression, that’s why I bought tickets for Louis’ next show right before I even heard the album. (It was a good decision, I can’t wait to hear Faith In The Future live!)
I guess I’m just writing this to relive that experience. If you read everything, thank you, and if you didn’t, did you at least like the pictures? Goodbye!
